Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

General requirements

  • Manuscripts are written in English and fall within the journal's focus and scope.
  • The manuscript is original, has not been published before, and is not under consideration by another journal.
  • The file is submitted in Microsoft Word format (.docx) through the online submission system.
  • The similarity index, checked with Turnitin, does not exceed 20%.

Manuscript structure

  1. Title: concise and informative.
  2. Authors: full names, affiliations, and the email address of the corresponding author.
  3. Abstract: 150 to 250 words, stating the purpose, method, findings, and implications.
  4. Keywords: three to five keywords.
  5. Introduction: background, research gap, and objectives.
  6. Literature Review: theoretical basis and hypotheses, where applicable.
  7. Methods: research design, sample, data collection, and analysis.
  8. Results and Discussion: findings and their interpretation in relation to previous studies.
  9. Conclusion: main conclusions, limitations, and suggestions for further research.
  10. References: all sources cited in the text.

Citations and references

Citations and references follow the APA style, 7th edition. Authors are encouraged to use a reference manager such as Mendeley. Recent journal articles should make up most of the reference list.

Tables and figures

Tables and figures are numbered consecutively, placed close to where they are first mentioned, and given a clear title and source.

After submission
